Hi, Lords fans,
As most of you know, I did a signing at Golden Apple Comics in Hollywood this past weekend. It went really well and people were pretty excited about Lords of LA as well as my other titles -- Destiny Aurora & C.A.T.s as you can see pictured here. I gave away ashcan editions of the first five pages.
A photographer from Getty images came out to take some pictures. A couple can been seen below while sporting my Flibby Yaas T-Shirt. On the bottom right you can also see two tiles from the game and a few figures. I didn't have enough room to put out the entire game. The minis were painted by a friend of mine.
Signing the Lords of LA Ashcan Edition
We are less than $500 from our first stretch goal. So, let's give it a little push and do a few posts. I've also gotten with other publishers who may be throwing some of their books into the mix for stretch goals. Stay tuned.

An amazing shoutout to you all of the supporters and backers for Lords of LA. In just over 72 hours from launch, we have fully funded the project. Also, thank you to all of the other indie publishers that have supported the project by posting it in their updates. I really appreciate everyone making this happen.
NOW WE CAN START UNLOCKING STRETCH GOALS!
Get ready for some amazing stretch goals coming up like collector cards, clan patches, stickers, keychains, and more.
I'm hoping that a few hundred more people will be joining our Vampire family. Go out and turn them. LOL.
Also, a quick reminder to everyone in the Los Angeles area. I'm going to be signing today at the iconic Golden Apple Comics today at 1pm. Get some additional Destiny Aurora and C.A.T.s merch as well as the Lords of LA ashcan edition.

OVER 80% TO GOAL!
Hi, Lords supporters.
We are sooooo close to being fully funded in just 72 hours thanks to all of you. Less than $900 to go and we can start unlocking the free stuff - namely stretch goals. So please continue to share and post the link to your social media and we'll get there before we know it.
A few of you have asked about how to create your own pledge level by adding "Add-Ons" to your existing pledge.
Here are the easy steps to adding products to your pledge:
HOW TO INCREASE YOUR PLEDGE TO INCLUDE AN ADD-ON
1. Click the “manage your pledge” button on the project’s page.
2. Increase your pledge by the amount needed to claim the add-on(s). (May not include shipping.)
3. Save your pledge. Do not change the tier that you originally pledged.
If you haven't checked out the Acrylic Standees. These look great. They are part of several pledge levels or you can add them to your pledge as an Add-on.
"The Midnight Cafe" 80-page Anthology captures the flavor and fun of old EC Comics like "Tales from the Crypt" and beloved TV shows like "Twilight Zone" and "Amazing Stories". The tales inside are culled from nearly 30 years of short stories, outlines, notes, and ideas that Monte Moore has developed throughout his career. The best were brought to life, and out of this was born a cryptic collection of tales overheard at "The Midnight Cafe", a diner at the crossroads of time, space... and reality.
"The Midnight Cafe" is also the intersection for points within the developing "Monte-verse", an entirely new comic universe that features our titles "Loco Hero", "Blood N'Bullets" and other upcoming titles in development.
The anthology is told through the talents of an all-star team of amazing artists and designers from various corners of the galaxy to delight and enthrall YOU...the lucky reader! This project was a MASSIVE undertaking with three separate teams working on fantastic art to bring you this 80-page Tome of Tall Tales. With each of the fables contained within being the length of a full-size comic book, what MOORE could you ask for?!"
As far as when to run it? Well, that's up to you... sooner is always better than later though, and I imagine that we will put the promotion for your project in our update for today.
On a side note - I believe you and Monte have quite a bit in common, and I look forward to seeing what may develop from combining efforts on this (and perhaps on future endeavors)

This is going to be the first of many "thank you" updates.
I launched the campaign at 9:00 pst last night and in not even 24 hours we are close to half way to the completing the goal. I appreciate everyone jumping into to support the Lords of LA. You will not be disappointed. I truly love this story. I'm currently pitching it as a television show. Once you read it, you'll see what a great show it will make with a wide berth of stories that fall under its umbrella.
I also just got the samples in of the acrylic standees, and they look great. If they are not in your pledge, you can always add them as an Add-on.
Once we bust the goal in the next few days, then we will start unlocking stretch goals, that's when the fun really starts. So, post the link and tell your friends, so we can hit that goal and unlock a whole bunch of free stuff for all backers.
