Printing Update & Ravenore 1 Week from Launch

Hello, Lords fans,

I just got back from Florida to check on my family and property. There are some people there that have lost a great deal. Luckily, I was not among them. The printer happened to be located there as well, so I will have an update by early next week. 

In the meantime, pages for the new issue are already starting to come in. I plan on launching Issue #2 in the next few months. 

RAVENORE LAUNCHES IN ONE WEEK - GET NOTIFIED

There is a great deal of excitement for the Tales of Ravenore series. The first book will launch in just 7 DAYS (October 15th). We have over 600 people on the notification list already. Also, we will be running a art giveaway. The first 50 backers that pledge for physical rewards will be entered into a drawing for exclusive online Ravenore art. This art will never be sold in stores and will be signed by Frank. They are printed on museum grade paper and will be great for framing. 10 will be given away, so a fifth of the entries will receive a copy.  Make sure you are the list to get notified by clicking the link above.

Printing Update

Hi, Lords fans.

Some of you have been asking for an update. I don't have much to update you on at this time. Everyone should have gotten their digital rewards now. If you haven't, then please PM me and I will make certain that you do. 

I spoke to the printer today. I have everything for fulfillment, except the comics themselves. Even the pins have arrived from China.  The printer informed me that most of the books have been bound and there is still trimming to do, but otherwise everything is done.  So, fulfillment is nearly at hand. Probably just a few more weeks.

In other news. Tales of Ravenore - my new Fantasy series just pre-launched. Sign up for notifications now. The first 50 pledges will be entered into a drawing for an exclusive piece of art that will be given away. I believe we will have 10 pieces to give away.

Closing Pledge Manager

Hi, Lords Fans,

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their summer.  I just wanted to do a quick update to inform you of where the project is and when you can expect your books as well as what the future holds.

1. Where are we with completing the graphic novel?  - Like all of you, some of my creative team took a holiday and spend time with their families. The good news is that the final 5 pages have now been inked and Maria Keane (IDW's G.I.Joe)  has done an amazing job on Alex's pencils. The pages look great. Those last five pages are now in the hands of the colorist, so we should be fulfilling all digital perks very soon.

2. How about the other perks? All physical perks, other than the printing of graphic novels, have been ordered.  The pins will arrive in another three weeks from China.

3. What's next for the Lords of LA? I really hope you all enjoy the first 48 pages, because I just wrote 48 more. This one is going to finish up the Don Vorigan storyline and will focus on Dante Cainella and Vincent Abellino.  Pretty exciting stuff.  There are monsters and street racing, Tommy gun shootouts, and more Marilyn and even Barbara Stanwyk.

4. What's next for writer Frank Zanca? Funny you should ask. My new YA fantasy book - Tales of Ravenor: Iron Witch has been completed and is in the hands of the editors.  I'm getting some artwork done. Soon, I will be launching the KS for that one. I think you all will really like this one as well.

Surveys Almost Done & Farewell to Nichelle Nichols

Hi, Lords Fans,

I just wanted to send a little reminder out about surveys. There are just a few of you left that haven't completed there's. Once completed I can start ordering everything. If you can't find your survey link, let me know, and I can resend it to you. Please PM me.

I have also started working on the script for the next issue. So, I hope you guys all like it, because there's more to come.  Also, if you'd like to see additional products in the future, please let me know and I'll include them next time - assuming there's enough demand.

I also wanted to give a moment of silence in memory of Nichelle Nichols. who died last night at the age of 89. She was an amazing woman. If you're a Star Trek fan, you'll know her as the original Uhura.

I was lucky enough to work with her on several occasions and be her friend.

Here is the trailer of a show I'm pitching right now. It was her final performance. That's me pointing.  The reason for the blacked out badges, as because we were shooting at a top secret area in Northrop Grumman and we can't show any credentials. They recently launched the new telescope. We had a private tour and were able to see it. They gave Nichelle an award as well. Great people over there.

Surveys Have Been Sent

Hi, Lords Fans,

All surveys have now been sent out. The Pledge Manager will remain open for about two weeks or so. Don't delay in responding as well as adding all of the items you might want. I'd like to start putting all the print orders in with vendors in August, so I can get the items out to you as soon as possible. 

I will be working on the script for the next graphic novel of Lords of LA, so there will be more to come. I'll be waiting for your feedback as well.  Let me know if you have any questions. I'd be happy to answer them.

In other news, I have just completed my new novel. This time it's a Fantasy novel good for all ages. It's called TalesofRavenor:TheIronWitch. The cover is currently being painted by award-winning digital painter - Zaine Lodhi. Joe Sanchez did the pencils. Pic below. I'm excited to get this into the world. I'll keep you all informed about its release.
