Lords of LA Issue 2 Late Pledge & Special Announcement
about 2 years ago
– Fri, Feb 02, 2024 at 07:37:16 PM
Hi, Lords fans,
If you missed out on Lords of LA issues 2 due to the bad timing of the campaign during the holiday season - then here's you chance to GET YOUR COPY. Late Pledge has begun.
We will be retiring certain covers after this late pledge completes. This is the perfect time to jump in. It's flexible funding on Indiegogo, so it doesn't matter how much is raised, the campaign is has already been funded through Kickstarter and the product will be delivered. I could use some help with paying for some the final few pieces of art as the issue is 48 pages- full color.
Art is currently still being developed. Below are a couple of pages that were recently inked.
Cainella visits Marilyn Monroe on the set where he is introduced to Barbara Stanwyck. Meanwhile Donavan joins Cainella's crew to hit one of Vorigan's hotels.
Gunmen catch Abellino off guard and fire tommy guns through the window, hitting him dozens of times in the vein of Bugsy Siegel's death.
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Mark Spears (known for his Spawn, Spider-Man, and Power Rangers covers among others) and I have been working diligently on a new card game featuring his Classic Monster art. It's going to be a Deck Builder/Area Control game for all of you gamers out there as well as Classic Monster fans. I've been play-testing the game for months and it's going to be lots of fun. There's even going to be a Dark OZ expansion. We will be releasing the crowdfunding campaign in April -Riftstorm: Classic Monsters
Here's an example of one of the cards.
If you can support the Lords of LA Indiegogo campaign, I'd really appreciate it. Until next time, keep reaching for the stars.

Thanksgiving Update! Only $800 from Unlocking the Next Stretch Goal

Hi, Lords Fans,
I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. I hope everyone has a great day celebrating with their families. I am thankful for everyone's support.
We have gone up a bit, We are now only $800 from unlocking the next stretch goal. If you can support Lords of LA by posting the link and supporting it by expanding word of mouth, that would be great. We will unlock the next goal in no time. There are still two weeks left and I know we can unlock a bunch more.
Here is a panel progression from pencils to inks, to final colors. I find it very interesting to see them side-by-side. That's what I love about comics is to see each artist put their mark on the art, making it their own in their unique way. Below we see Emil Vorigan, the Lord of Vegas, has gone too far. Feeling threatened and angered by his treatment of the twins, Dante and Vincent join forces to confront him. Vorigan, however, has other, more dangerous plans
Faelyn Wood follows the story of Wren, a young man who is gripped by the ghost of his deceased father. With the aid of his friend Sel, he undertakes a dangerous quest to set his father's spirit free from the realm known as Faeyln Wood. The story is big on fantasy-action with a blend of horror, much in the vain of Conan the Barbarian,Red Sonja, and Game of Thrones. Action, adventure, mystery, and suspense -- it's all here.
The story is a 3-issue miniseries by writer Tawn Kramer, artist Abray Tart, colorist Bryan Magnaye, and letters by Marco Della Verde.
Those who love epic fantasy and riveting D&D campaigns will find Faelyn Wood well-suited for them. However, mature readers of all taste will find this story easy to dive into and enjoy. Faelyn Wood offers a world that is vibrant and live-in, but not crowded with unnecessary world-building and plotlines. It's focused on face-paced and effective storytelling that takes readers on a journey with every issue.
